So far, no weight has been lost. Whilst this is, indeed, really, really gay, I will continue on! <lj:music>Katy Perry - I Kissed A Girl</lj:music>

So, I kind of got a little lost and forgot to mark down what I've been eating the past couple of days =/ So we'll start again, from day 5. I remember vaguely that my diet has included lots and lots of rice, and ramen. And toast. I had it all mentally jotted down, and then I *may* have started to slide into mild hypoglycemic shock. Purely my own fault, and a sign that I really need to get on this whole "eating well" thing. I was fine after a few sugary cups of tea though, so no worries!

Day 5's Fooood Diiiaaaarrryyyy

Woke up late, so no breakfast.

Lunch - Water
Toast with strawberry & orange jam: 400kcal approx

Dinner: 1 Bowl of Rice seasoned with sesame seeds and Tamanori furikake. - 250kcal
                  Mango Jelly - 21kcal

Then came the sickness, so I had 2 cups of tea. 61kcals each (including sugar) so a total of 140kcal.

Total: 811kcal

Day 6's Food Diary

Today was much better imo, and I'm going to go out and grab something after the dorm meeting I think as well. Stupid meeting.

No breakfast as was running late for a test

Snacks: Curry Bread - 350kcal approx
                 Pocari Sweat - 27kcal
Chocolate Milk - 170kcal (I think - it could be more - I'll check tomorrow)

Lunch: Egg Sandwiches - 300kcal approx
                 Guava Juice - 100kcal approx

Dinner/Pre-dinner: Potato/ham roll - 250kcal
Naan bread and curry - 400kcal approx
                                            Water

Total (so far): 1597kcal

I'm still hungry though - possibly from not eating enough over the past few days. So even though, 1500kcal should be enough, I'm going to go out after this meeting, and buy some food. A bike will need to be borrowed!

Edit! Just had some chocolate (1 white bar, 1 milk at 269kcal and 261kcal respectively), some camembert cheese at 58kcal each, and a strawberry y milk drink at 46kcal.

NEW TOTAL: 2347kcal

So, I figured that having a food diary/exercise blog would help me keep on track of what I eat and what not. The fear of seeing what everyone thinks of my terrible diet will hopefully spur me into doing more exercise and keeping track of what I eat., as well as encouraging me to change how I eat to make sure I don't gain anymore weight!

Sadly, I ate pretty badly today, consuming more snacks than actual food.

Anyway, the goal is to lose 7-10lbs or about half a stone. Last time I weighed myself, I came in at 9 stone/125lb which is heavier than I'd like to be, considering I was 8.5 before I came to Japan.

Today's food and drink consisted of:

1 Bowl of Miso Ramen (nothing added to it) - about 471 cals
2 packets of Hi-chu D= - 238 cals each
1 Pineapple and Lime Chu-hi - 56 cals

Total: 1003 cals.
